owHere is an example of a low angle shot from Scrubs which i got from YouTube:
The example of a low angle shot is used in the above scene of Scrubs. It shows the female doctor looking powerful as she has a moan at the man. A high angle shot is also used on the man to show she is a higher ability than him as she is moaning at him which makes him look and seem smaller at the stage of the scene.
A low angle shot is used to make an object / person look more powerful, important etc.
-- I also remember a low angle shot being used in Coach Carter, when Carter walks down the stairs and the camera is low so that it makes him look powerful and extremly important and big.

Worm's Eye View Shot
Here is an example of a worms eye view shot which i found on YouTube:
I think this is a decent shot of a worms eye view. It isn't the best worm's eye view shot, as it doesnt really do anything to make the train look mighty huge. But i believe it does show that the train 'owns' the track as it is the only train on the track and the view makes the train look just a bit bigger than what it would look from a front on shot.
A worms eye view is a view of an object from below as the observer of a worm. A worm's eye view is generally used to make an object / person look strong, powerful, tall etc. which enhances their apperance.

Crane / Birds Eye View / Aerial Shot
Here is an example of a birds eye shot which i found on YouTube:
This is a decent example of a birds eye view shot which shows the atmosphere and scene of the camera filming. It shows a town, motorways, a school etc.
A birds eye view shot is used to show what is going on around the filming, and it shows the whole scenery of where the filming is set etc.

Reverse Zoom Shot
Here is an example of a reverse zoom shot:
This example is a decent example as im not 100 percent sure it is correct.
It shows the objects in the Desert and then zooms out and zooms out and shows the rest of the desert.
A reverse zoom shot is when the focus reverses and makes the object / secene seem furthur away, this makes the object seem smaller and makes it more weaker. Where as the scenery makes it look bigger as it shows more of the scenery and how powerful and big it is.

Crash Zoom Shot
Here is an example of a crash zoom shot which i found:

I think this is a decent example as it makes the HOLLYWOOD sign look bigger, and more important.
This is done by the camera zooming right into the sign, and making it look like you can't see the sign anymore when it is zoomed in. This is to show the big and important side of HOLLYWOOD.

Whip Pan Shot
Here is a short example of a whip pan shot from YouTube:
I believe this is a decent shot as it changed from two people having a conversation to someone enterning the door / scene. The shot looks as if it changes scene as it was light then it goes to dark and a light on when the girl enters.
A whip pan is usually used to show another object / person enter a room, or do something which could change the atmosphere of the scene.

Tracking Shot
Here is an example of a tracking shot which i found on YouTube:
From the tracking shots i found, this one was my favourite as it follows a lady near enough the whole way through the shot.
I believe it is a good example she is one of the main characters in the movie and it makes the viewers aware of that due to the camera following what she is doing through the scene.
A tracking shot is usually used to follow an object / person throughout a scene to see what they get up to, this shows the mysterious side of the shot.

Panning Shot
Here is an example of a panning shot which i found on YouTube:
I have chosen this panning shot as shows the background and scenery of the place it is.
Although nothing is really going on in the shot, i believe it is a nice shot due to the place it is taken in.
(It is also the only decent shot i could fine..)
A panning shot is used for a few different ways. One way is for it to highlight the speed of an object. Another is to capture the background and the atmosphere of what is happening around an object / person.

Sherlock Holmes Review
I recently watched Sherlock Holmes, and in my opinion, it wasn't a very good film, as i find action / adventure films undesirable. I found the film very hard to understand and it was difficult to keep up with what was going on, especially as the plot was very complicated. However, the action aspect of the film was rather interesting and kept me entertained.
The film was set in London; England with old Victorian houses, old style furniture, horse and carriage and old Victorian streets, so it is quite a back dated film, although it was released in 2009. Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr kept the viewers entertained with enthused acting and powerful scenes of fighting. Downey and Law used dry and sarcastic humour to keep the viewers entertained as well.
The music used gets your adrenaline going (non-diegetic music) in most of the fight scenes, and it is also used in the opening scene to set the film so that the viewers are not sure what’s going to happen but something is going to happen.
Overall, my opinion of the film isn't very high, but i do believe i have seen better films. It wasn't exactly boring, but then it wasn't very exciting due to my own love of romantic comedies. To be fair, the main thing that kept me watching was Jude Law.
