Ninth day editing we got most of the editing done. Myself and Ella took control of the mouse and using Final Cut we got all of the shots together and in the right order! Harry and Alex were also with us, helping out to which we worked very well as a group again.
We started off by adding in the final shots into the house scene to which we had completed adding all the scenes in except for one. The one shot we didn’t have properly done was the one with the camera over Liza’s shoulder texting. While Ella and Harry carried on editing, myself and Alex shot this scene to make it better than what it already was, to which this only took us about 10 minutes. As soon as we finished we came back and added in this shot to which we thought it didn’t work very well, but we had no choice really to use it due to the deadline being very close!
Once we started getting to work on editing all the shots in together and making them fit perfectly, we started transferring the music onto our working Mac, to which we then ran out of time.
The plan for next session would be to have a group critic on all our films, and for some of our class mates to tell us what was good and what we could improve on, as well as the teachers.
