This was our last day filming, and all we had to do was film the alleyway scenes. We decided to leave out the train station scene and shots because we didn't have enough time to film them, so we got started straight away on the alleyway scene. Before shooting the alleyway scenes, I planned out what we had to do in the order of shots so that we didn't spend too much time shooting the scenes.
Alex and Harry were unable to attend due to other priorities, so it was myself and Ella taking the lead with the camera and directing with Liza and Jack (the stalker).
The first scene we shot was with Liza walking from the front of the train station into the alleyway. This took several times to film as people kept getting in the way. We set up the tripod and camera a few meters away from the alleyway and station and hid behind the corner of a shop to make it look more like a point of view shot. Ella filmed this and i directed, we decided it worked a lot better this way as i enjoyed directing and she enjoyed being behind the camera.
The next scene we shot was the one of Liza walking past the camera down the alleyway, and then the camera panning round to see Jack standing at the beginning of the alleyway. This took quite a while to film as we figured some shots didn't quite work. Ella filmed this shot and i directed this shot.
After doing that shot, we had to film Liza's point of view, which included me walking down the alleyway holding the camera (handheld). This took 2 times to film as the first time the camera was still on the tripod and it we heard rattling from the tripod when we played it back, so i re-done the shot without the tripod which worked a lot better. In the background of the shot, we could hear a train going past which we thought went well with the shot.
The next shot we filmed was the stalkers point of view, which Ella filmed Liza walking down the alleyway getting closer and closer to her. This worked alright, but looking back on it, it didn't look as good as it took Ella a while to catch up with Liza.
After filming that shot, we shot the footsteps which we originally wasn't going to do until Harry suggested about putting the camera on the floor and watching Liza's footsteps and then Jack footsteps a couple of seconds after. We found this was a very good shot and worked very well and looked really good when we watched it back.
We then filmed from Jacks point of view where he taps Liza on the shoulder behind her, this took 2 times to shoot as Jack didn't quite know how to work the camera :P. Once we taught him how to this worked well.
I then filmed Liza's point of view when she turns around and looks down the alleyway and sees no-one there. This only took once to film as it worked well the first time.
We then added in a few more shots down the alleyway where she walks through the subway. Ella said about doing that as it would work well which i agreed because of the lighting being a bit brighter. We filmed her going into the subway, and the coming out of the subway which Ella filmed both and i directed both. When we filmed her coming out of the subway, we decided on doing a high angle shot and also filming a wide shot which we decided that the high angle shot worked better and because we hadn't used a high angle shot yet either, we will most likely put this shot in instead of the wide shot.
The last shot we had to film was when Liza walked into her house which we used my house. It was very dark so we had to figure out a alternative to the lighting, so we put the light on in my bathroom downstairs which had a window so it showed a bit of light, and we also put my mums car headlights on to make Liza seen in the camera shot.
Overall, day 3 filming went very well! Overall it only took us about 45minutes to film everything, and this included filming a few more shots. Ella worked very well behind the camera and i really enjoyed directing the shots and movements of Liza and Jack.
